Are you and your family looking for affordable housing in Asheville?
You may qualify for HACA housing!

The income charts below show the Median Family Income (MFI) limits for the number of family members in your household.

If your household earns at or less than 80% of the Median Family Income based on household size as listed below, and is in accordance with the HACA’s admissions policy, you may qualify for an affordable apartment or townhome with the Housing Authority. HACA commits to ensuring that its total population is comprised of 25% of tenants meeting the 80% MFI requirements.

If your household earns at or less than 50% of the Median Family Income based on household size as listed below, and is in accordance with the HACA’s admissions policy, you may qualify for an affordable apartment or townhome with the Housing Authority. HACA commits to ensuring that its total population is comprised of 75% of tenants meeting the 50% MFI requirements.

If you are a person with a disability or you do not have internet access, you can contact the Asheville Housing Authority’s Admissions Team for assistance in completing your application.
